While it is true that fake grass is very low maintenance, it tends to be placed outside where animals and weather can impact its condition, which means some maintenance is still required. Thankfully, it is still very low maintenance, and there are tools you can use to make the job even easier (plus, you still don't have to look after artificial turf as much as you would have to mow and weed a natural grass lawn.)

Artificial Grass Power Broom
This power broom for artificial grass is excellent for restoration when the fibres are particularly compacted, such as when you've had your astroturf rolled up for a while, or you've had something heavy sitting on it for a long time. You can also use the rake before going over your grass with grass vacuums for anything a little more stubborn. (Such as the sweeper previously mentioned).
While using a traditional garden broom tends to flatten the tuft on artificial grass - this does the opposite and gently lifts the tuft back to its correct position whilst removing harmful debris and moss. How to maintain Artificial grass
Now that you have the right tools to keep it in good condition, you may be thinking what's the best routine to ensure the grass stays in good condition. Here are a few tips on how to maintain your lawn.
Brushing
You'll want to brush your lawn about once a week or every other week and sweep any debris, leaves, twigs etc., that may be embedded. You can use the grooming rake or power broom to do this and make sure you brush in the opposite direction of the fibres.
Removing debris
Once you've swept it all up, so it's no longer stuck in your artificial lawn, you can remove the debris several ways, either with the grass sweeper, we mentioned previously, which will vacuum it as you sweep or a leaf blower for quick results. (However, if using a leaf blower, this will be easier on dry debris than wet.)
